Wall Painting - Part 5 (4)

so here is a better view of the whole thing =)
(except I couldn't fit the tree because this wall is too big to fit everything)
oh yea, and that's the furniture that will stay there.

anyway, that's it for today =)
enjoy your rest of your week, and I'll see you next week!!
(I've got an extra week =) )

Wall Painting - Part 5 (3)

to make it more realistic, I've added some clouds =)
now that I've done all that painting at the top, my arm hurts so bad!! aack! =P
(and it's pretty scary up the ladder too)

Wall Painting - Part 5 (2)

hello there Keena =)
are you interested in what I'm painting too? haha

Yasmyn coming out of Kanan's wonderland (painting) haha

(doesn't she look like she's part of the painting too?)

Wall Painting - Part 5

yay! I've finished the bird =)
I'm planning to do another bird flying (landing) towards the branches, but I'll do that after I'm done painting the sky.

I'll mix up red, yellow, light pink(?), dark yellow, white, and light purple together to do the sky. so hopefully it'll look like the sunset =)

this is how it looks at the moment from the distance =)
It's looking more realistic-ish now =) yay

Wall Painting - Part 4 (3)

I've added more leaves, and I think I'm done with the tree =)
but it's time for me to go home now, so this is it for the day...

I didn't expect this tree would take that long (the lighting/coloring took a while), but next week, I'll come over earlier so I can get more things done =)

See you next week =)

Wall Painting - Part 4 (2)

then I've started adding some leaves =)

here is the close up.

Wall Painting - Part 4

okay, 2 weeks left!!!

my plans for today is to finish the tree and maybe the bird (if I have time). and finish off with the sky next week and it should be done =)

anyway, I'll start off with the branches.

Wall Painting - Part 3 (4)

alright, enough wondering around and back to work =P
(this is the room where I'm painting at)

hmm, I'll start painting the tree now because it was one of the things Betsy (my other mother) really wanted on the wall. (I had to ask for the ladder because I couldn't reach the top. haha I wish I was a bit taller =P)

anyway, she says she wants me to fill in the square bit as well because it would look funny if they ever had to move the shelf(?)
so I've painted and painted, and I ended up using all the green.... and so, I've decided stop here for today and I'll get some more green for next week.

See you next week =) 2 more weeks to go! (maybe)

Wall Painting - Part 3 (3)

well, since it's sunny outside and I'm on my break, I'll just wonder around =)

going up the stairs to the living room =)

Aladdin and Cane saying hello.

Hello Yasmyn =)

Hello Bengie (is that how you spell it?) =)

Wall Painting - Part 3 (2)

for the spaces between the river and the hills on the right, I've filled it in with some yellow and made a little cliff bit at the front (along the river) so then the river will look more natural then just adding grasses there.

well I think I've filled in parts where I need to, so I guess I can go ahead and have a little break =)

Wall Painting - Part 3

well today's goal is to start adding some details, and hopefully finish the green bits because apparently I only have 2 weeks left to finish it..

I've started off with the hills at the back and continued along the front. and then added some bushes at the front with some flowers =)

then I've added/touched up more grasses near the hills to make it look more realistic.

Wall Painting - Part 2 (4)

well, this is the last picture for today =)
sorry about the weird angle, I had a bed where I used to take pictures from so I had to take it from this angle... but hopefully you'll get the idea, yea?

anyways, I'll see you next week! =)

Wall Painting - Part 2 (3)

ta-daa! what do you think?
this hill? mountain? took ages to work on!! I wasn't expecting to be this difficult to create a hill, but the colors, shading and everything was sooooo time consuming! but I think I've done a pretty good effort there =)

anyways, people were asking me "how big is the wall?" so I've took a picture of the wall with the bottle (which I was drinking) and hopefully people would get the idea... does it help at all? haha
anyway, here it is.

Wall Painting - Part 2 (2)

it seems like the oil paint is dry and it doesn't look that bad, so I guess I won't re-do them and leave it as it is (because if I use turps and wipe them, I'm afraid that it's gonna scrape the background color as well). and so, I've filled it in with layers of green to give deeper perspectives.

then, I went back to the cliff bit again and started spreading out the grasses. and I've also added grasses far in the distance, and I've tried to make it look natural... does it look natural?

Wall Painting - Part 2

OIL PAINTS are NOT to be used for wall paintings!!!
and yes, I've done it... used the wrong paint... haha
but it was a good thing that I didn't use much of it. (or else I had to re-do the whole thing over again!)
anyways, I've mistakenly used oil paint for the trees (the green bits) and that was why the paint wasn't drying at all last time. well I guess if you think positively, it was a good experience, and I will never do it again =) it's all about trial and error, right? haha
(for anyone who wants to know, you need to use acrylic paints for wall paintings)

anyways, I've started with the cliff to start off with, so that you can visually see the fall.
it was really hard to get the right color green but I'm actually pleased with how it looks at the moment =) so I guess it's working =)

Wall Painting - Part 1 (4)

well, since the green bit doesn't seem to dry up quick enough and I can't really touch up the river yet anymore until I paint the surroundings, I think this will be it for the day.

anyways, were gonna take a walk over to the beach with our four dogs now =)
and I'll probably come back next weekend and by that time, the painting should be dry... hopefully =P

Wall Painting - Part 1 (3)

while waiting for the green bit to dry, I've decided to add a long river from across the distance.

Wall Painting - Part 1 (2)

so, I've decided to paint with light-ish brown as the base color, or the background color, and just right above the horizon, I've added some dark green so then it looks as if there's a forest far in the distance.

Wall Painting - Part 1

Ta-daa  =)

so, here is the wall that I was given to paint on.
it has a little shelf thing on the left, and that little square bit next to it is where the shelf or a desk would go (which means I don't have to do anything there).

anyways, Betsy (my other mother) wants a beautiful scenery, somewhere where tigers and lions would live.
and she specifically wants a tree growing from the left and some tall grasses below.

this is going to be so interesting because the size of it is like a normal canvas × 100! haha
